Tim Tsyzu’s USA World Title Eliminator Is Back On. No Limit Secures Headline Bout vs Terell Gausha.
No Limit and PBC have officially announced Tim Tszyu and Terrell Gausha will fight a World Title Eliminator bout as the Main Event in The Armory, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, on March 27th (Australian time).
The fight was originally set to take place on March 20 as the co-headline event for the super welterweight unification fight between Brian Castano and Jermell Charlo. However, the event was cancelled due to an injury to Castano.

Since the cancellation, No Limit have worked tirelessly to renegotiate and make this fight go ahead with Tim now fighting Gausha as a standalone headline event. Today No Limit can officially confirm that it will go ahead and that fight fans will have the chance to watch the PPV event live on Main Event, available through Foxtel or Kayo.

Headlining a main event in the U.S. is a significant step for Tim, whose trajectory toward a World Title has captured the imagination of the Australian sporting public. Tim has long stated his unequivocal personal ambition to reach the top of World boxing and this event sets up his World Title shot before mid year.
No Limit Boxing CEO, George Rose said, “We are thrilled for Tim that we have secured him a World Title eliminator in the US.”
“Tim wants his shot at becoming a World Champion and this fight edges him one step closer to that dream. He has a relentless focus on this goal and to leave a massive legacy in boxing. While I know Gausha is a massive challenge, Tim wants nothing less than the best to be put in the ring with him” Rose said.

Terrell Gausha Bio:
Gausha is a World class opponent who will allow Tim to showcase to the World his legitimacy as a future champion. Gausha holds a 22-2-1 record, coming to this fight off a knockout victory against Jamontay Clark in March last year.
His only two defeats have come against WBC Silver super welterweight champion Erickson Lubin and WBA middleweight champion Erislandy Lara, a record that means he is no doubt Tszyu’s biggest test to date.
When asked about the challenge ahead, Tim said “He’s definitely the best fighter I [will] have fought…No risk no reward…I am not here to sit on my arse…I love challenges and I love tests.”
George Rose said, “Tim wants all Australian fans to follow his journey on Main Event, March 27, he’s realising a dream but we can promise boxing fans our collective ambition is to bring World Titles back to Australia. This opportunity allows boxing fans to see Tim showcase his skills to a World Class opponent and show what he can really do. It will be an incredible fight and fans can see it all live on Main Event. ”.
This fight will be shown in Australia in an ideal timeslot, mid afternoon Sunday March 27, for NRL fans right before the Sunday game that weekend at 4pm.
Pay per view is available to order now from Main Event and available to watch through Foxtel or Kayo.
